Thinking of getting into shape for your holidays!?

According to a new report, simply going on holiday can be as good as a full gym workout!

A recent study conducted by has found that travellers burn nearly 500 calories before even arriving at their holiday destination, the equivalent of one hour cardio workout.

This is said to be achieved through a combination of running around, trying on new outfits, packing and carrying heavy luggage.

And for those who still have a few pounds to burn, have even devised an exercise plan while you queue:-

“Holiday makers can sometimes spend a large amount of time queuing while travelling abroad so we’ve devised a workout to help people make the most of this time.

“The ‘luggage workout’ aims to help travellers burn those last few pre-holiday calories which will hopefully help put the finishing touches to beach bodies hitting the coastal resorts this summer.”
