15 Year Old Gets More Than He Bargained For

From Simon in Kent on Thursday 2nd June 2011

We’ve all been involved in a raffle at one stage or another. Whether in organising, taking part, or listening to some poor soul on the end of the phone begging you for a voucher.

Sometimes you get a voucher, and sometimes, well, sometimes you get really lucky.

That’s exactly what happened to Nathaniel McMcmaster, a 15 year old from England, who went looking for nick-knacks, and ended up with a vintage Rolls Royce – worth a staggering €15,000.

Young McMaster, who was holding his raffle in aid of the Help For Heroes Charity, which helps British Soldiers and their families, was clearly over the moon with the kind donation.

When asked about the unnamed donator, “It just goes to show that he is a nice man that he wants to help the heroes and he believes in his country as well.”

1972 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow Mark One is to be raffled off this weekend.

Since the extremely kind donation, Nathaniel has sold a whopping 3,000 raffle tickets in his local area and hopes to add to that before the big day.

Fair play we say!
